Meet Margarit Vardanyan

As the Founder and Clinical Director of Bright Speech Therapy, Inc., I am a California-licensed and ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) with experience in the field since 2011.

​

Fluent in English, Armenian, and Russian, I provide individualized, evidence-based care that is culturally responsive and family-centered.

​​

My background includes work across clinic, home, daycare, and educational settings, with certified therapist experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder using ABA-based intervention and the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) for young children with autism.

Formal / Informal Assessments Screening Evaluation

We provide comprehensive speech and language screenings, assessments, and evaluations for children from infancy through adolescence. Services are offered in English, Armenian, and Russian, utilizing culturally and linguistically appropriate assessment tools to ensure accurate, respectful, and meaningful results. Our evaluations address speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills, giving families a clear understanding of each child’s strengths and areas for growth, and providing insights that guide personalized therapy to maximize communication success

Individualized Speech and Language Therapy

We provide personalized, evidence-based speech and language therapy designed to meet each child’s unique needs. Our services target speech clarity, language comprehension and expression, social communication, pragmatic, cognitive communication skills, as well as feeding and swallowing support. Therapy is goal-driven, engaging, and age-appropriate, with families actively involved supporting skill generalization and reinforcing strategies at home and in everyday environments. Speech Disorders

Speech sound and motor speech disorders affect a child’s ability to produce clear, intelligible speech or coordinate the movements required for speech. Language Disorders

When to Seek a Speech-Language Evaluation

Consider scheduling an evaluation by a licensed speech-language pathologist if your child:

· Is not babbling or using gestures by 12 months​

· Has fewer than 50 words by age 2

· Is not combining words by age 3

· Has unclear speech beyond age 4

· Shows limited understanding or use of language for age

· Struggles with social communication, following directions, or expressing needs
